The singer also announced GIFFT a line of wine in partnership with Scheid Family Vineyards in Monterey CA. Recently, she made her directorial debut for the short film The God Who Sees, starring Nicole C. Mullen. The two co-wrote music for the film. Gifford is a patron of a variety of organizations for children, such as Childhelp as well as the Association to Benefit Children. Both Cassidy's Place & Cody House are named after her two daughters. Her work in the area of labor relations brought her honorary doctorate at Marymount University.
